Sitting Rock

Creating a Touch of Eden often means landscaping with the intent to deliver spaces where clients & their guests will want to pause, breathe deep, and enjoy being present. Sometimes that is through the mingling of soft plants, edged grass, or flowering shrubs, while other times it involves mixing a bit of hardscaping that has both a visual appeal along with a practical place to sit and enjoy. So when we are able, our TOEL (Touch of Eden Landscaping) crew tactfully situates Sitting Rocks.

This Particular Rock Garden is dotted with Shrubs, perennials, and an Ornamental (flowering) Tree. Across the meandering flagstone pathway is such a sitting rock. This Rock Island, before its transformation, was a young girl’s ferry garden that had become unkempt and unused as she grew out of that phase. In the course of time, it has now been repurposed into an extended access point to the lake. A place to pause, find shade, and make new memories.
